Susan is co-chair of KJK’s Student & Athlete Defense/Title IX Practice Group. Recognizing the need for legal services dedicated to protecting students, professors and individuals with disabilities, Susan handles matters ranging from special education issues to student conduct matters and Title IX investigations. Susan has successfully prevented many students from being suspended or expelled from school. She also protects graduate students, professors and scientists facing allegations of research misconduct and scientific fraud. As more students attend class virtually, Susan represents students accused of cheating, plagiarism and academic dishonesty.

As co-chair of KJK’s Student & Athlete Defense/Title IX Practice Group, Kristina has spent years serving the legal needs of students and professors in crisis. In addition to protecting individuals facing criminal prosecution in state and federal courts across the country, Kristina has earned a national reputation for her work representing students in Title IX proceedings. Aside from being a skilled Title IX Attorney, her work also includes cases involving student misconduct, academic misconduct and scientific research misconduct. When clients have faced threats to their personal and professional reputations, Kristina has successfully spearheaded defamation lawsuits and online reputation management.

Anna is a skilled, civic-minded attorney who provides support within KJK’s Litigation, Student & Athlete Defense and other practice groups. Prior to joining the firm’s Cleveland office, she served as a law clerk. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in anthropology from The Ohio State University, and a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
