KJK is proud to congratulate Student & Athlete Defense Co-Chair and Partner Kristina Supler on being named Best Lawyers in America® Lawyer of the Year in the Education category for 2026. More About Kristina Supler:
Kristina Supler is co-chair of KJK’s Student & Athlete Defense / Title IX Practice Group alongside Susan Stone. She represents students, professors and families nationwide in Title IX investigations, academic misconduct cases, campus disciplinary proceedings and research misconduct investigations. Together, Kristina and Susan have built one of the few legal practices in the country focused entirely on protecting the rights of students and educators.
For nearly two decades, Kristina has counseled clients through some of the most complex and sensitive cases, including claims of sexual assault, harassment and other campus misconduct. She is frequently retained in cases that involve parallel criminal investigations and provides counsel in hearings, appeals and related litigation.
Kristina’s work also includes student personal injury claims tied to educational institutions. She fights for the rights of students who have experienced sexual assault, hazing, bullying, athletic injuries and harm caused by misconduct on campus. Her practice includes pursuing Section 1983 claims against government entities and officials for civil rights violations.
She also regularly represents clients in academic and research misconduct cases, including allegations of plagiarism, cheating and data falsification. Her representation extends to Greek organizations and student-athletes, assisting with disciplinary actions and crisis response.
